Flexibility & Inversions Workshop

Flexibility & Inversions: A workshop with Heidi Pasch for pole dancers.

Workshop Objectives:

  • Enhance lines by increasing active range of flexibility and strength

  • Learn controlled contortion skills to add into pole flows and floor work. Skills we’ll work on include elbow stands, walkovers, bridges, and/or chest stands.

  • Achieve beautifully open splits and accessible flexibility for pole tricks like Jade, Marchetti, Open Butterfly, Machine Gun, etc. by using the scientific principle of reciprocal inhibition 🤓 📚

In Heidi Pasch's workshop, Flexibility & Inversions, we will explore each individual's skeletomuscular needs to activate specific muscles. Increasing the range of strength in pole dancers will increase their flexibility and improve the overall quality of movement. Levels will vary, so what element you focus on developing is up to the individual. Heidi aims to highlight attendees' active flexibility to enhance their dance aesthetics and extend joint longevity.

We cannot wait to see you in the werkshop 💕
