Sick kid making you miss your workout?

Kids get sick. Sometimes, you might miss a workout because you’re urgently needed at home with a sick kid. With that, guilt can creep in quickly. Guilt for missing a workout. Guilt for increasing their screen time. I’m not here to increase your guilt.

Life is a balancing act. You are enough, you’re doing enough, and you are more than your earthly body. Right now, make space and grace for yourself. Have a cup of tea and teach your baby what recovery looks like.
